My career has spanned both enterprise and startup environments, from leading digital transformation at Nine Entertainment to building technology platforms for fast-growing startups. At home#
At home, I'm a husband and father to a couple of cheeky kids, which often inspires my practical tech projects. I'm a huge advocate for home automation and use platforms like OpenHAB to create a smarter, more connected home environment—whether it's for managing parental controls with AdGuard or just making daily life a little more seamless (much to my wife's chagrin). My projects are all about finding practical, often open-source, solutions to real-world challenges.
When I'm not wrangling my ridiculous homelab, you'll likely find me in my workshop bringing ideas to life. I have a passion for combining 3D printing, electronics, and custom software to create unique gadgets and props. From motion-reactive Minecraft swords for my kids to intricate WLED art pieces, I love the process of turning a digital design into a physical, interactive object. Music and DJing#
Beyond the workshop, another one of my long-standing passions is music. I've been DJing for many years, with a love for mixing progressive house, techno, breaks, and occasionally DnB. It's a different kind of creative outlet, but one that's just as rewarding as building a physical project and a whole lot of fun!
